How to be happy!

Step 1: Love yourself.
-If you are going to try to be happy in any situation, or generally life, you need to be able to love yourself and recognize your limits. You are the only person you will ever know, so taking care of yourself and accepting yourself is a key point in being happy.
Step 2: Surround yourself with positivity.
-This may seem like a difficult task with all the negativity we have in our world in this day and age, but if you surround yourself with people who love you and engage in activities that you enjoy, you will definitely smile more often.
Step 3: Hang out with others who praise you.
-This is not the same thing as fishing for compliments. Doing this is like complimenting yourself. If a friend tells you that you have a good way with words, you could make a mental note saying “Oh, I am good with words. I should remember that.”
Step 4: Stay healthy.
-This may not seem like an actual step in being happy, but staying healthy is crucial in your happiness. The more you physically take care of yourself and keep your hygiene levels up, you will become more satisfied with the results, leading into you becoming more confident and happy.
Step 5: Laugh!
-The final step is just to simply laugh! Laughing is a great way to express happiness and joy. Even laughing at nothing can cause you to be happy. Whenever you’re in a bad mood, simply recognize why you are in such a bad mood and shrug it off. If it is nothing important, let it go. Replace that anger with joy, and laugh!
